This work was originated from Italy in 13-14th Century and is used in making world famous AgraÕs Taj Mahal main dome extensively. The Semi-Precious Stones/gems are used in this work are CORNELIAN, JASPER, TURQUOISE (firoza), LAPIS LAZULI (lajward), MALACHITE, etc This artwork is called 'Pietra Dura' and have been used in Taj Mahal's walls.
